Kali Artist - Residency Grant

Residency Grant's Rules and Regulations:
- - As an open-access facility, the Print Studio aims to ensure that all groups and individuals using the workshop are given equal opportunities to benefit from the facility. Artists are required to cooperate with the aims and objectives of the Print Studio, where this impacts on usage of the facilities.
- - Any artists aged 35 or younger anywhere from Bangladesh, working in any medium are invited to apply for the Grant to work in Printmaking media.
- - The duration of the residency will be three months long.
- - An interview call might appear after the primary selection.
- - The grantee must present in the fixed schedule time of studio 10:00 am to 4:00 pm Government holidays.
- - Use personal protective equipment as instructed and when required.
- - The grantee must respect the studio maintenance.
- - The grantee must submit (Two) 2 prints for each plate work for the Print Studio archive. This archive is for historical and educational purposes.
Portfolio Submission
- - A brief statement of why you are interested in this residency grant.
- - A resume (Not more than 500 words)
- - Self-Image (Not less than 1200 x 1200 pixel)
- - 7 to 10 Artwork images (recent artworks of any media) including all the details of the artworks. (Title, Size, Media, Year) Each artwork is not less than 2400 x 2400 pixels and not more than 5 MB.
Awards
- The grantee will get an amount of Tk 100,000 (1 lac) funded by the family of artist Kalidas Karmakar, including basic art materials during the Residency Grant period, arranged and facilitated by Cosmos Atelier71.
