Yunnan Arts University delegation visits Gallery Cosmos, Atelier71
Six art educators from the School of Design at Yunnan Arts University visited Gallery Cosmos and Cosmos Atelier71 on 25 September 2023.
A delegation of six educators from the School of Design at Yunnan Arts University in China — among them the dean and several department directors — visited Gallery Cosmos and Atelier71 at Cosmos Centre, Malibagh, on Monday 25 September 2023, hosted by the Cosmos Foundation.
The visitors toured the printmaking studio and the gallery's holdings of paintings, sculpture, and books, guided by the artist Mong Mong Sho, and were received by director Tehmina Enayet and artistic director Sourav Chowdhury. Artists and art educators from Dhaka, Khulna, and other universities joined them.
The visit continued an exchange that began with art camps and exhibitions in 2017, and included discussion of a memorandum of understanding between the two institutions.
